Pulau Tiga Park is located north of Kuala Penyu, opposite the swampy Klias Peninsula. The island became famous when it was used as the location for the first Survivor reality TV series. Accessed via a 40 minute boat ride from Kuala Penyu jetty, which in turn is a 2 hour drive from Kota Kinabalu. Pulau Tiga has interesting flora and fauna, nice beaches and a rich marine life that offers good snorkeling and diving opportunities. The island also has a few mud volcanoes which are popular recreational spots for visitors. There are a number of nature trails on the island, each offering different trekking experiences in terms of views, flora, fauna and trail difficulty.

07:30 Depart from Kota Kinabalu. Journey takes roughly 2 hours.

09:30 Arrive Kuala Penyu Jetty.

10:00 Depart by boat to Pulau Tiga.

10:40 Arrive at Pulau Tiga- free at your own –  snorkeling, swimming and mud volcano!

12:00 Lunch. Free time for swimming and snorkeling.

15:00 Depart to Kuala Penyu jetty.

15:40 Arrive at Jetty. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu..

17:40 Estimated arrival at Kota Kinabalu.
